About the Role:
Mollie Stone’s Marketsis looking for a Part TimeFloral Clerk to support our Palo Alto grocery store. Our ideal candidate will have previous floral experience, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a flair for merchandising. This candidate must also have a cooperative, friendly personality and the desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:
Able to arrange and wrap flowers.
Ability to merchandise department to increase sales.
Ability to maintain quality and freshness throughout department.
Assist customers with questions and offer product knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
Desire to constantly grow product knowledge of flowers, plants and other floral merchandise
Detail-oriented
Available to work a flexible schedule, including evening weekend and some holidays.
Local candidates only.
Previous floral experience.
Competencies:
Ability to manage confidentiality with integrity.
Effective written and oral communication with strong attention to details.
Exceptional organization with strong ability to prioritize competing interests.
Strong ability to cooperate and work collaboratively towards solutions in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.
Travel Requirements:
Independent and reliable local travel 50% of the time.
Pay scale:
$18.50-$21.35 depending on industry experience.
