Foustman's Salami is a family-owned salami company specializing in creating unique styles and flavors of artisanal uncured salami.
We are in search of a Farmers Market/Festival Lead to manage our booth at weekly Farmer's Markets and festivals in Santa Cruz and surrounding areas. We are looking for enthusiastic, intelligent, positive-minded individuals with a good attitude, a sense of humor, and a strong work ethic.
The right person for this job is outgoing and enjoys chatting with customers. In addition, a love of food and working outdoors would be helpful. You may be running the booth on your own so we are looking for someone who is self-motivated, independent, and punctual.
Market Lead Responsibilities:
- Pickup farmer's market van and drive to farmer’s market.
- Set up Farmers Market booth
- Break down and unload booth
- Handle cash and credit card sales
- Engage with customers and sample product
- Get people excited about SALAMI
Market Lead Requirements:
- Available to consistently work Saturdays and Sundays
- Able to lift heavy items (such as tent canopy and tables)
- Clean driving record and valid CA Drivers License
- Prior restaurant, retail, or Farmers Market experience a plus
