The ideal candidate will have previous experience in fry and range cooking, prepping, cutting in a high volume quick service or fast casual restaurant.

Acclaimed pitmaster and chef Matt Horn and his selected team have brought tradition and culture into this iconic retro-inspired space in the heart of West Oakland. From family to the community, the menu features a handful of southern-inspired fried chicken sandwiches, tenders, and wings.
Responsibilities:
Be the final quality check for all orders as they are fulfilled by kitchen staff
Complete, garnish, package items To Go or serve Dine In to seated guests
Greet each customer with a smile and actively assist while they are in the restaurant and/or seated to ensure satisfaction
Assist guests as they use the on site Kiosk as their primary ordering platform
Work the register, when necessary, to ring up sales and complete transactions
Clean up and bus counter and tables inside and outside the restaurant
Issue receipts and refunds to customers, as needed
Participate in product promotion events and initiatives to drive sales
Maintain a solid knowledge of product inventory to assist customers with their selections
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
Willingness to work well in a team environment
Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Benefits Include:
Competitive Wages (although the base wage is $17/hr, tip sharing has been averaging an additional $4-$5/hour more so total earnings end up being around $22/hr)
Tip Sharing (upon completion of training/probationary period, tips are never guaranteed and considered an elective gratuity between guest and employee)
