The Event Sales Manager is responsible for:

Generating revenue in Private Dining & Events in the restaurants through direct sales activities and marketing efforts. This position will be responsible for several Bay Area restaurant locations, working specifically out of our Vida location in Mountain View.

Connect with people in a meaningful way, continually innovating to expand the reach with key corporate, business, and travel industry accounts, tapping into community organizations and the media to elevate the market share awareness and driving further business.

Responsible for soliciting, negotiating and booking new / repeat business by outside sales calls, telemarketing, mailings, networking

Required to achieve revenue sales goals

Required to maintain existing events as well as solicit new business

Plan and execute a wide range of events, including conferences, meetings, weddings, and social gatherings

Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including but not limited to audiovisual equipment and transportation

Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and provide creative solutions to meet their needs

Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses are within allocated limits

Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services

Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are in place and running smoothly

Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event execution

Provide exceptional customer service to clients before, during, and after events

Skills:

- Ability to market events effectively to attract attendees - Proven experience in event planning and management. Outside sales will be required

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, vendors, and team members

- Knowledge of the hospitality industry, e.g. restaurants

- Proficient in budgeting and financial management for events

- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality experiences for guests

A sales commission will be earned on top of the base salary.
