Hurrica, a new fine dining restaurant in Redwood City, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dining Room Manager to join our team. As a Dining Room Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining room, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the dining room staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure that all guests receive prompt and courteous service
- Monitor dining room operations to ensure efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination between FOH and BOH
- Oversee banquet events and ensure they are executed flawlessly
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate expectations and provide feedback
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room area
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in hotel or restaurant management is required
- Strong knowledge of food service operations, including banquet service
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Proficient in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members
- Knowledge of Toast POS system is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Compensation: $66,560-$75,000 (based on experience) + Benefits. Opportunities for career growth, and a supportive work environment.
