Daytime Lunch Server
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10:45 AM to 3:30 PM
Sunday to Wednesday may be another possibility.
We’re looking for a Daytime Lunch Server to join our team at La Marcha Tapas Bar in Berkeley! This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in an independent, hands-on role and wants to learn the ins and outs of serving.
What You’ll Do:
This is a one-person show, meaning you’ll wear many hats to ensure smooth operations during our weekday lunch service:
- Greet and seat guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Take food and drink orders, deliver them promptly, and provide recommendations.
- Buss tables, reset for new guests, and maintain a clean dining area.
- Answer phone calls, handle reservations, and manage takeout orders.
- Pour drinks and provide basic bar service.
Pay
$18.67/hour + tips (24% is tipped out to the kitchen).
Tips range from $40 to $200 per shift, depending on the day.

Previous experience in hospitality is a bonus but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!
