We operate four popular cafes in Marin and have a wholesale commercial bakery producing flatbread crackers, cookies and crisps in Petaluma with products sold nationally by fine retailers throughout the US. SUMMARY
This position manages the NetSuite work order process on the plant floor by generating, organizing and distributing work orders created from the weekly Production Schedule. Creates and builds dough/case assemblies and ensures that every finished goods pallet transfers to the Warehouse with a lot code label. Reviews lot codes and addresses discrepancies with Department Leads prior to data entry. Generates and prints lot code labels. Assists Leads to ensure materials are stored properly, to conserve space and comply with safety procedures. Stays in close communication with all Department Leads to address any last-minute changes.
-Creates all required new dough/case work orders from the Weekly Production Schedule
-Distributes the new “Dough” and Case work orders
-Collects/organizes “Dough” and “Case” work orders at start of each shift and compares to production log
-Reviews lot codes, and addresses discrepancies with Department Leads prior to data entry
-Creates/build dough assemblies
-Enters finished case pallets into NetSuite as pallets are completed or product run is completed; creates/build case assemblies
-Generates and prints lot code labels. Applies to pallets prior to moving pallets to Warehouse
-Assists Leads to ensure materials are stored properly, to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
-Has a good understanding of all Rustic Bakery products, (packaging, ingredients, and finished goods), allergens, and methods to ensure safe quality food
-Files and organizes all completed floor documents (work orders, batch sheets, etc.)
-Stays in close communication with all Department Leads to address any last minute changes
-Performs additional duties as needed and occasionally assists other departments.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS
-Effective and accurate oral and written communication skills. Fully bilingual preferred (English & Spanish).
-Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
-Shows good judgment, sound reasoning, and good decision-making skills.
-Ability to use a calculator to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Must be able to accurately record results.
-Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
-Good attendance and punctuality record
-Must work well in a team environment.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
-High School diploma or its equivalent
-1 - 2 years of related experience working in a similar industry. Additional education may be substituted for years of work experience.
-NetSuite experience preferred
