We are looking for a strong self-motivated leader to head the daily operations of a full service, casual restaurant/bar kitchen and continue to uphold our reputation for great food.
This person needs to:
Manage all parts of the Kitchen:
Scheduling, Ordering & Receiving, Menu Development with Managers, Inventory Monthly, have Local Schedule Awareness for Chase Center, Oracle Park, in-house Events. All of these scheduling items are loaded onto TripleSeat by Event Coordinator.
Tools of the business: TripleSeat App, Hot Schedules App familiarity or ability to learn.
Set a great example with a strong work ethic & attention to detail.
Have at least 4 years of experience in a busy, fast paced kitchen
Have excellent culinary skills, including proficiency in various cooking techniques
Be organized and understand a sense of urgency
Be able to hire, manage & maintain the kitchen team.
Train & mentor team members on recipes & techniques
Oversee consistency & high standards of taste, quality & appearance of food.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment responsible to The SF Health Dept. Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory and order all dry goods & fresh product from vendor, ordering to minimize waste and control costs
Ability to efficiently produce menus & food for restaurant service, Private Events, Buy Outs, Community Events
A quick thinker and problem solver & comfortable working under pressure
Be organized and detail oriented
Dependable, on-time each day
Assist wherever needed, team player
