Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the point of sale.
Duties:
- Greet customers entering the establishment
- Scan items, provide pricing, and accept payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- Assist customers in locating products
- Promote store loyalty programs and special promotions
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with accuracy
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Strong phone etiquette skills for handling inquiries and orders
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices
- Familiarity with wireless sales and product demonstrations is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous for effective communication with diverse customers
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in retail math calculations for accurate transactions
- Previous experience in jewelry sales is beneficial but not required
- bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred but not required
