Breakfast/Brunch Server for the Newly Refreshed R&P

R&P, a modern American concept from the Omakase Restaurant Group, emphasizes ingredients from local, greenmarket purveyors intermingling with the flavors of Executive Chef Dustin Falcon’s childhood favorites. We are seeking a breakfast/brunch server to join our team! We are a newly refreshed concept located next to our very own Michelin-starred Niku Steakhouse, also run by Chef Dustin.

The ideal candidate will have serving experience and/or barista experience preferably with breakfast and brunch. He or she will be responsible for providing prompt and courteous service to our guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and orderly dining area. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, work well under pressure, and be a team player. This is a full time position if you are available, but a part time position is available, too!

Responsibilities include:

Take food and drink orders from guests accurately and with a positive attitude.

Enter orders into POS systems.

Engage with guests in a friendly manner.

Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.

Check back with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any

problems.

Collect payments from tables.

Complete side works and other projects assigned by management.

Run food to tables and assist wherever needed.

Requirements:

Teamwork - help others when needed.

Barista experience is welcome and encouraged, but not mandatory.

Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.

Practices Safety Procedures.

Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.

Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.

Ability to follow instructions.

Strong adaptability.

Food Handlers license or being able to get one within 30 days of employment.
