Bull Valley Roadhouse is seeking a kitchen leader/executive chef. While we pride ourselves in providing high quality cuisine to complement the extensive cocktail program, we are looking for execution and consistency over creativity and originality. We’d like to see classic, rustic, simple dishes well done, everytime.
You need to be able to:
Cost goods, and maximize efficiency with both product and labor
Execute and maintain quality control throughout the staff
Hire, train and supervise kitchen staff, including porters
Be open to suggestions/feedback from guest, management and ownership
Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
At least 5 years of comparable kitchen experience
Minimum 1 year in some kitchen management role
Experience in ordering and tracking inventory
Level-headed leadership skills
Ability to speak spanish is a plus
Manager level California servsafe certificate
Willingness to assume responsibility for all aspects pertaining to BOH
You will be working a station daily. We are closed Monday and Tuesday. Compensation will be based on experience.
