As we open our doors and welcome the community, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Lead to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity for a seasoned bartender who is ready to step up and manage various aspects of bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Bartending Duties: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with excellence and enthusiasm. Maintain a deep knowledge of the bar menu, including classic cocktails and exclusive house specials.
Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks, ensure the bar is well-stocked with all necessary ingredients and supplies, and manage stock levels efficiently to reduce waste and maximize profitability.
Ordering Supplies: Take responsibility for ordering bar supplies, alcohol, and other necessary items, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating prices where applicable.
Scheduling: Create and manage the work schedule for bartending staff, ensuring shifts are covered during all operating hours, taking into account peak times and special events.
Training and Supervision: Train new bartending staff on bar operations, cocktail recipes, and customer service standards. Supervise the bar team to ensure a high level of service and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their experience is enjoyable and memorable. Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience in a pool hall environment is a plus.
Skills: Excellent mixology skills, strong leadership and communication abilities, proficient in inventory and supply chain management, adept at multitasking and managing high-volume service periods.
Personality: Looking for someone who is energetic, positive, and capable of creating a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff.
