Mountain Roasting Company is a friendly locals coffee shop located in the Felton Fair Safeway Shopping Center and was established in 1991. It is a staple in the community and thrives on providing great coffee, food and a place for locals to gather. As we get ready to reopen Mountain Roasting Company soon after a change in ownership, we are looking to hire friendly, competent baristas/food service techs to join our team! We are also looking for a manager which would require the qualifications below plus management experience. The managers pay will be dependent on your qualifications, work ethic, and professionalism. Qualifications
-6 month barista experience required, 1 year experience preferred.
-Positive and outgoing personality.
-Professional and self-motivated.
-Knowledge of Toast POS system a plus.
-Good work ethics.
-Great verbal communication skills.
-Arrive on time for shifts.
-Abide by dress code and cleanliness guidelines.
-Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations.
-Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
-Must be 18yrs or older to apply.
-Uniform required.
Primary duties include but not limited to:
-Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea and smoothies.
-Sandwich making.
-Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service.
-Knowledge of Toast POS a plus.
-Receive and process payments.
-Serve bakery and other prepared food items.
-Assist with food preparation and handling as needed.
-Follow all safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness at espresso machines and food areas.
-Complete all side work before the end of shift.
-Other duties or tasks as needed or assigned by Management.
-Janitorial duties.
Must be able to complete the ServSafe Food Handlers course online with 30 days of hire.
