A prominent private social and dining club in the San Francisco Financial District is currently seeking to fill the following positions immediately:
Banquet Server
Banquet Bartender
As the primary point of contact for Members and guests in the dining room, the Server is responsible for serving food and beverages using their knowledge, hospitality and service skills. Must be pleasant, conscientious and professional with excellent knowledge of food & alcoholic beverage selections. Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, ensure smooth service operations and quality service.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2-4 years of fine dining service experience. Knowledge of service and food and wine, generally involving at least 4 years of restaurant experience and thorough knowledge of fine dining, service procedures, and functions
Cleanliness, organization, and the ability to work well in a team situation are crucial
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in
an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
Clear tables in a timely and efficient manner
Help with in-house catering for special events as directed
General cleaning, restocking, maintaining cleanliness in the Dining Room essential
Ability to stand during entire shift
Must be able to maneuver throughout the dining area while carrying full trays of food and beverages
