Assistant General Manager

Join our dynamic team in the heart of downtown San Francisco! We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced member to our management team. The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, and overall guest satisfaction. A key role for this position is to also oversee the bar program, including inventory management, cocktail development, and staff training to ensure a high-quality beverage experience for guests. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a passion for hospitality, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training

- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and addressing any guest concerns or issues promptly

- Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards

- Support GM in administrative tasks such as menu update & inventory management

- Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, budget management, and reporting

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a leadership role within the restaurant industry, preferably as a Assistant General Manager or similar position

- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, staffing, and inventory management

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- 3+ years of experience in bartending, with a strong understanding of beverage preparation techniques and cocktail trends
