The Tiburon Peninsula Club is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join its expanding team.
The TPC Café is focused on serving seasonal cuisine to a tight-nit community of members 7 days a week. Our seasonally rotating menu, full scratch kitchen, and robust Catering Program provides for a work experience that is always varied and exciting. We are looking for experienced professionals who are looking to learn and grow in a respectful environment.
Responsibilities include:
Set up and stocking of food items and other necessary supplies.
Execution of recipes and menu items as directed by the Chef.
Maintaining a neat and clean workstation.
Communicating the needs of the kitchen to the Chef and other Café Management.
Working both as a team and independently to execute the needs of a very diverse service.
Maintain kitchen sanitation and organization.
Qualifications
Able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Available for Weekends and Holidays. Flexible work hours are required.
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including standing for extended periods, working at a fast pace, and lifting or moving objects up to 40lbs.
Current Food Handlers Card or the ability to obtain one within the first 30 days of hire.
