Do people say you look just like Santa Claus? Well then you’re in the right place!
Get paid for your good looks!
And we’re not talking about good looks as in looking like some thin, suave, handsome, young guy…
We’re talking about good looks like looking like a handsome gentleman with some wisdom under his belt, who really likes to eat Christmas cookies…
Yes, you heard it right. The more Christmas cookies and candy canes and ice cream cakes you like to eat, the more qualified you are!
And what other important qualifications, do you need?
Well…
1) You prefer not to have to take time out of your day to shave.
2) You like watching the movies Miracle on 34th Street, and Elf.
3) You enjoy presents.
4) You like children, and you try not to yell at them, even when they’re annoying.
5) You can manage to refrain from yelling at them when they’re annoying, if you’re getting paid to do so.
6) You don’t mind wearing the color red.
7) You can arrive to places on time, even if you can’t ride in an actual sleigh that day.
8) You like to smile, laugh, and can manage to shout out a Ho Ho Ho once in a while.
(Not in a mean way to women as they pass by)
9) You are happy, and like being kind and spreading happiness to those around you.
10) You like Christmas.
11) You like getting paid $50 an hour or more to do very little.
12) You like getting big tips in cash from families just for simply taking pictures with their children and eating their Christmas Cookies and drinking their hot chocolate.
If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
We are a Children’s Entertainment Company, and we send Santa Claus all over the Bay Area, from San Francisco, to Monterey, to bring happiness and Christmas Cheer to children and adults alike. (And the adults WILL like you too. Everybody likes Santa Claus!)
And since the sleigh is often occupied, yes, you do need your own car. We can’t negotiate on that one, unfortunately.
We are based in the Santa Cruz area, but we often go to events in San Jose, Santa Clara, Los Gatos, Campbell, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto, Fremont, Newark, and down south, from Scotts Valley, Felton, Watsonville, Prunedale, Gilroy, Hollister, and Salinas, to Monterey, and Pacific Grove.
You can be located anywhere in those regions and beyond, but you will have to drive to Santa Cruz for a fitting, and a bit of training. (Easy training - this is not hard work)
This is an event based business - not a 9-5 job in one location - and you get to pick the events you want to go to, because everyone who works with us is an independent contractor.
You can stay close to your location, and probably get fewer jobs, or drive farther, and get more jobs. We do our best to pay for travel costs like gas when an event is more than 20 minutes to a half an hour from you, and you will be paid in cash at the end of some events, or paid by us within 2 days. Usually 1 day.
If you have a long white beard, perfect! If you need time to grow it out some more - call us on the candy cane phone anyway, just in case.
If you have no beard yet, we might be able to get you one. But the one thing you can’t be? Skinny.
We can’t fix skinny. We really meant it when we said that we need you to like eating cookies.
Or lots of beef stew. Or pizza. Or SOMETHING. Sorry to all of you in-shape and healthy guys who like to exercise!
No need for guys who like to exercise here.
What DO we need?
A text or call with:
1) Your 1st name
2) The city or town you live in
3) Whether or not you have a car and an active license.
4) A little about yourself
5) Your current schedule, including when you work, or are not available. Keep in mind that this work is often on weekends.
6) Whether or not you would be willing to work on Christmas Day, or Christmas Eve. (Pays double, or more)
7) A picture would be very helpful
8) Why you think you would like to do this, and why you think we - and others - would like you.
Thanks! Call or text our elves with all of the above info on the Candy Cane phone, at 831-317-9447.
And we will get back to you. Anytime is fine. The candy cane phone is turned off at night, or when we’re busy.
And don’t wait. Holiday events have already started!
