Job Details

If you’ve loved working with children, either at a daycare or as a nanny, or perhaps as an actor, entertainer, summer camp coach, teacher, or swim coach, this job is right up your alley. If you want to still play with kids, but have a more flexible schedule that you can set on your own terms, this is the job for you!

So, what’s the job?

We want to hire you to dress up as a fairy princess and play games with children during parties, movie openings, parades, and corporate events - basically, whenever there are kids at a party, you’ll be there to enchant them.

You’ll dress up as several characters (no, not like Elsa in a bad Halloween costume, but as faeries and mermaids that are designed to let your own personality shine) and play with kids during events within 50 miles of your home. You'll be paid for all travel and training, and all costumes and supplies are provided.

Unlike with other character entertainment companies, here you will have something very unique: employee status. That means we provide everything for you. We cover your tax contributions, liability insurance, and everything else the other companies force you to pay for out of pocket (so they don’t have to) as an independent contractor.

Why? Because here we believe that taking care of our employees is the best way to take care of our community, which matters a lot to us as a small, woman-owned business.

Why should YOU work here?

Dear future faerie,

Are you the one who children always notice? Do you end up playing with the kids at the dinner party more often than not?

If this is you, you'll love this job because you'll be celebrated for one of your greatest skills - making children laugh!

When children meet & play with people as fun as you, they feel special and that they are enough as they are. Join us on our mission to empower children by entertaining them as one-of-a-kind YOU, not just as stereotypical princess impersonators.

I can't wait for you to apply. You're about to have the time of your life.

Ribbons and roses,

Fae Diddle Diddle

Head Faerie

Pay ⁣

You will be paid hourly wages that vary depending on what you're doing at the moment (driving, training, performing, reading emails from work etc).

Your minimum hourly wage will be $20 and can go up to $50.

Average earnings of current employees:

$700/month working an average of 5 hours per week.

Highest earnings of current employees:

$2000/month working an average of 11 hours per week.

Hourly wages are based on your availability, good reviews, & skill level (all training is paid and provided).

Heads up - these pay averages are before tips which average an additional $100+ per week.

Extra heads up - these are yearly averages. Some weeks have more work available than others.

Who We Are Looking For ⁣

We’re looking for diverse Faeries of EVERY shade, size, identity, and ability.⁣ The characters you will play here are magical because it is YOU who playing them, not because your hair or body shape has to give 'Disney Princess'.

Don’t get us wrong, we LOVE Cinderella. It’s a beautiful story. From the past.⁣ We’re here for the future. We want children to SEE themselves when they look at you, and that’s why we need you.

Crazy awesome, one-of-a-kind YOU!⁣

Schedule ⁣

We want this job to help lift you up by being flexible. That is why you let us know which days you want to accept gigs each month. We'll ask you for your availability every 30 days.

Your schedule is sent to you every week with gigs only on the days you chose to work for up to 8 hours of gigs on those days.

"Do you require a minimum # of days each month that I have to accept gigs?"

Yes and no. No - there is no set number of days, but yes, you must earn at least $600/mo.

If you earn less than the minimum, it means you won’t be available enough to reach all the kids who want to play with you and we’ll have to let them down because we only have a set amount of supplies, training, and costumes available.

Psssstthe highest-earning days are Saturdays & Sundays. If you accept gigs on most Saturdays and Sundays, you can easily hit that (and make twice that).

“But what if I don’t want to work every weekend?”

You don’t have to. You can easily make the minimum (and more) while having a full weekend off each month.

“I don’t have a lot of weekends available.”

No prob. We hire twice a year; come back another time!

“I’m available on some weekdays. Can I work those as well?”

You can! They are less popular, so we’ll contact you directly each time one comes up so you don't have to block off a full 8-hour day.
