Job Description:
We are seeking a proficient Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in SolidWorks to support our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drawing up components of our specialized machinery and verifying existing designs to ensure they meet all specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of machine components using SolidWorks.
- Review and verify dimensions and specifications of existing engineering drawings.
- Collaborate with the design and manufacturing teams to optimize component designs for manufacturability.
- Conduct engineering calculations to verify design integrity.
- Document all design work and maintain records of design iterations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in SolidWorks with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
