We are Chris French Metal, a well-established fabrication company working in the Bay Area for over 20 years. We have a tight team working on projects that include high-end residential as well as specialized commercial projects. We are looking for a Junior Project Manager/Designer to add to our talented team.
Essential Functions
Assistant to Senior Project Manager/Designers and Facilities Coordinator
Generation of Shop Drawings; Submittal Plans for Architectural review, Fabrication Plans for shop production
Verification and Templating of as built site conditions
Purchasing of goods related to projects
Project review with fabricators and management of project schedule
Qualifications
Arrive to work, meetings and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled
Able to interact with clients, staff and vendors in a professional manner
Excellent team building and colaboritive skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Demonstrate effective verbal, written and communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Competent understanding of CAD programs, preferably Vectorworks
Proficiency with software, such as and Adobe Reader, Excel and Word
General knowledge of construction means, methods and practices as well as work sequences and durations
Valid California driver’s license
Work Conditions
Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines
This position requires Sitting 90% and Standing 10% of the time
Lifting up to 50lbs occasionally
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other devises
Shop environment may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts
Compensation
This is a full-time position. (4) 10-hour days, Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
