Responsibilities:

Strategically evaluate assigned projects to identify risks and opportunities.

Build organized and complete estimates encompassing labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and trucking.

Prepare clear and concise Bid Proposals and follow up with clients after submission.

Support project management effectively to ensure success in the execution of work.

Masterfully read and interpret plans, specifications, reports, and bid instructions.

Experience performing quantity take-off on civil, architectural, structural, and landscape drawings in both 2D (Bluebeam) and 3D (Agtek).

Prepare clear and concise proposal exhibits and take-off reports.

Solicit, evaluate, level, and negotiate subcontractor and vendor price quotes.

Identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrate proficiency in one or more of the following specialties: demolition, earthwork, paving, underground utilities.

Possess a high attention to detail.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Be proficient in reading and interpreting plans, contracts, and other technical documents.

Display proficiency in performing mathematical calculations and working with numbers.

Meet deadlines for multiple tasks.

Possess and maintain a valid driver's license

Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or possess equivalent experience.
