Terminal Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking to hire two engineers/project managers (one full time and one part time) with an interest in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, machining, and welding. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and manage all the technical activities to assure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
Bid on customer projects by studying product design and customer requirements
Hands on approach to project management working directly with machinists and welders
Complete technical calculations, as necessary
Prepare Bill of Materials and work with Purchasing Manager to procure all materials for projects
Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications
Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications
Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years in an engineering and/or project manager role-Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field required
Proven project management, engineering, and manufacturing experience
Ability to multitask and run several projects simultaneously - SolidWorks knowledge is recommended
Decision making ability is key
Time management skills and highly organized
Must be self-motivated, a team player, and have a positive mental attitude
