California, San francisco bay area 00000 San francisco bay area USA
Aplica ya

Leading edge civil engineering design firm is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist in the design, coordination, and processing of civil engineering construction documents for commercial land development projects in Northern California.

Responsibilities include the coordination, design, review, and processing of grading and drainage plans, wet utility plans, street improvement plans, and technical studies. Other functions include research, responding to plan check corrections, and collaboration with agency staff, clients, and peers.

This is a work-from-home position. The position may, however, require occasional travel to job sites and agency offices.

We are not your typical engineering firm. While we’re involved in some of the coolest commercial land development projects in California, our team does not report for work at a central office each day. Our flexible work-from-home business model not only gives us a local presence in the communities where our projects are located, but the work-life balance that it brings to our team is unequaled in the profession.

We offer a competitive compensation package, unlimited vacation policy, and opportunities for professional growth. This is a terrific opportunity for the right person.

Qualified applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

- Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in commercial land development engineering (civil/site design) in California markets.

- Technical Abilities: Autodesk Civil 3D competency. Familiarity with civil engineering construction documents and technical studies. Familiarity with permit processing through various agencies within California.

- Communication: Excellent English skills, both written and spoken. The position will involve direct communication with agency personnel and extensive interaction with Project Managers, Project Engineers, clients, and peers.

- Organization: Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple project demands and competing deadlines in a non-traditional, remote work environment.

- Location: Must be located in Northern California.

In order to be considered for this position, applicants must go to https://www.atlascivildesign.com/careers, watch the video at the bottom of the page, and follow the instruction provided in the video.
