SUBSTITUTE TEACHER/AIDE, Preschool Position Summary:
First and foremost, this position requires staff to maintain and model Christian values to children, families, and staff at all times. You must follow and uphold Imagine Christian Preschool child development philosophies while implementing curriculum expectations.
Teacher Responsibilities & Duties
-Day to day preschool duties
-Ongoing partnership with the Director and other staff
-Address behavioral concerns
-Support play-based philosophy
-Oversee Licensing Title 22 compliance and execute daily staff schedule
-Maintain positive relationships with staff
-Oversee cleanliness & organization of room and play areas
-Maintain campus safety policy
-Visually supervise all children at all times
-Model punctuality & stewardship of materials
Requirements
-At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
-12 semester child development units
-LiveScan background check
-Demonstrate experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred
-Documentation of good health, including a negative tuberculosis (TB) test result, and complete vaccinations as required by Title 22, in order to work with children.
Preschool operating hours are 8-5:30pm, FYI, but work hours may be flexible. Potential of full-time position after summer period
