Foreign Language Instructor – SPANISH (position available for 2024-2025)
St Vincent de Paul School in San Francisco, California is seeking a full-time educator
SVDP is committed to educating the whole child through experiential activities that inspire creativity and innovation. The middle school team works together to create experiences that are cross-curricular and challenges students to think globally, and problem solve locally through the lens of social justice.
Individuals applying for this position must be creative and innovative in their teaching practice. Applicants must have knowledge of up-to-date teaching methodologies and strategies with a deep understanding of 21st century learning skills and how to grow students socially and emotionally.
Teaching Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Strong understanding in foreign language instruction
Manage co-curricular responsibilities and administrative duties for a classroom Responsible for lesson planning, instruction, and assessment
Supervise students through the school day
Other task assigned by school leadership
Individuals applying for these positions must be able to support and promote the Catholic identity of the school. The person must be experienced at planning and implementing curriculum, be skillful at appropriately integrating technology into lessons, and understand the differentiated classroom.
Key qualities of a St. Vincent de Paul teacher include: a positive attitude, deep interest in learning new skills related to teaching, and a desire to collaborate with others.
Applicants must have a BA and a teaching credential; a masters degree is preferred.
$54,500-$104,931 Base Range (Advanced Education & Certifications not included)
