Early Start Preschool & Child Care, a warm and welcoming home-based preschool located in the vibrant Inner Richmond district of San Francisco, is looking for passionate and experienced Toddler teachers to join us!
Position: Part-Time Toddler Teacher
-Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM or
-Monday – Friday, 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM or
-Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or
-Tuesday, Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
This position has the potential to transition into a full-time role with higher pay, if you're interested!
Compensation: $19 - $22/hour, depending on experience and ECE education.
What You’ll Be Doing:
-Create and lead fun, hands-on activities for children ages 1-3 that spark creativity and exploration (art, music, science, literature – the possibilities are endless!).
-Develop and implement a curriculum that supports emotional, cognitive, social, and physical development.
-Foster a positive, engaging classroom environment where children feel safe, loved, and ready to learn.
-Provide care, from diapering and meal prep to potty training and comforting – making a big difference in their daily lives.
-Maintain a clean, safe, and fun classroom that meets health and safety standards.
-Work with a fantastic team who share your love for early childhood education!
What We’re Looking For:
-12 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) (preferred)
-At least 12 months of experience working with children in a licensed childcare or preschool
-Ability to lift children up to 40 pounds
-CPR & First Aid certification
-Must complete mandated reporter training, TB test, background check, health screening, and provide proof of immunizations.
