Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher who is committed to fostering the growth and development of young children through play-based learning. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can explore, discover, and learn through hands-on experiences and guided play activities. Responsibilities:

Design and implement a developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum that supports the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of preschool-aged children.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore and learn. Establish clear expectations and routines to promote a sense of structure and organization.

Integrate play-based learning experiences, including sensory play, imaginative play, and cooperative play, into daily activities and lessons. Facilitate opportunities for children to engage in hands-on exploration and discovery.

Establish and maintain open and effective communication with parents and caregivers. Provide regular updates on children's progress, share insights into their learning experiences, and collaborate on strategies to support continued growth and development at home.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning community. Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and curriculum planning sessions.

Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom. Adhere to licensing regulations and follow established procedures for emergency preparedness, health, hygiene, and sanitation.

Qualifications:

Minimum 12 ECE Units with a desire to continue to learn.

Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting.

Strong understanding of child development principles and theories.

Knowledge of play-based learning pedagogy and best practices.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
