A small community-based agency (Title 5) in Berkeley is recruiting for a full time school-age teacher to work with the development and operation of our Bay Area School-age children. Our curriculum focuses on a whole-child perspective that includes personal interests/hobbies, healthy interpersonal skills, multi-cultural competencies, and social justice perspectives.
Duties: Works under the supervision of the Director/Site Supervisor for development and daily implementation of the school-age curriculum. Includes Title 5 assessments (including DRDP, ERS: ECERS, SACERS and ASQs).
Minimum Requirements: (1) You meet Title 22 clearances for health and background and (2) Title 5 Associate Teacher Permit.
Additional Comments: Many of our children are bi-lingual with Spanish and African Languages. Imaginative, flexible, and creative approaches to problem-solving are appreciated. Outdoor activity is encouraged. We comply with Covid-19 regulations and protocols.
Salary is competitive-dependent on qualifications. And a good compensation package.
