About the Role:
This is a physically active, all-day role for someone who enjoys hiking, beach days, climbing, and full-on outdoor play. If you love hands-on adventures — like fishing trips, building forts, discovering bugs, train rides, exploring tide pools, visiting the bouldering gym, finding cool rocks, and learning about nature through trial and error — your days will feel like fun, not work. We also love exposing our child to art and music, so painting, crafting, signing and dancing are part of the mix.
Our previous nanny (moving to Boston) had so much fun in this role. She spent her days discovering new places, trying new things, and seeing the world through a curious child’s eyes. Activities like fishing, fort building, bug hunting, train rides, tide pool explorations, bouldering gym visits, art and music experiences were all part of her week — and if that sounds enjoyable to you, you’ll thrive here too.
We are a family in Aptos seeking a reliable, punctual, and energetic nanny — male or female — who is naturally curious, interested in child development, and takes reasonable precautions to avoid illness. A trial period will be followed by a one-year commitment if it’s a good fit.
