Foothills Forest School is located in the heart of the foothills of the majestic mountain, Tuushtak (Mt. Diablo).
We are looking for an experienced early childhood educator to take on the role of forest school leader. We are fully play-based and rooted in nature connection, life skills, and a love for learning. A love for nature, play, & the outdoors is a MUST for anyone looking to take on this position.

More details:
1. 25-27 hours a week, plus additional opportunities for professional development hours
2. Must have the core 12 units for early childhood/child development, degree preferred but not necessary
3. Must have at least some experience working with young children (under 8 years old)
4. Pay starts at $26/hour, potential for more depending on experience & education
5. Paid training and orientation
6. Must pass DOJ fingerprinting & background check
7. Must pass health screening and TB test
8. Position can start as soon as early September
