RE: BASKETBALL COACH at City of Berkeley
Rebound Basketball Academy is currently looking for committed Basketball Coach for part time position at City of Berkeley. Applicants should have coaching experience and/or knowledge working with children ranging in ages from 2 to 14 years. The philosophy of RBA programs is to engage children in learning both sport-specific activities and life-skills, in a fun and positive atmosphere. Applicants must be able to embrace these ideas while providing strong leadership and commitment to program participants.
The position is a part time job for a college student or an adult who enjoys coaching kids. It is an enrichment program with a curriculum-based. The schedule is year-round on Wednesday from 3:45 to 5:30pm, and/or Saturday from 9:15 am to 12:10pm, and camps during the school breaks and the summer. Must have a passion and be excellent with children. Good sense of humor, flexible, energetic, and with great self-management skills are all required. Many of the students are learning the activity for the first time. Coaches must provide their own transportation and to have the ability to transport themselves and the provided equipment to the class location.
