About AcroSports
AcroSports is a non-profit organization committed to teaching movement arts through inclusive, positive, and fun programming. Our Offsite & Outreach Program brings acrobatics, parkour, gymnastics, and tumbling classes to schools and community partners throughout San Francisco.
Position Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable Offsite Coaches to deliver movement-based classes (e.g., gymnastics, parkour, tumbling) to youth in a variety of school and community settings. You’ll bring the AcroSports spirit into offsite classrooms—creating a safe, educational, and engaging environment for students.
Schedule
This is a part-time, non-exempt position. Coaches must be available Monday–Friday from 2:00–6:00pm during the school year (only when schools are in session). Additional hours may become available based on performance, availability, and program expansion.
Responsibilities
- Lead movement-based classes using AcroSports curriculum and safety standards
- Build positive relationships with students and partner staff
- Support lesson planning and contribute to a collaborative teaching environment
- Transport equipment (as needed) and maintain gear in good condition
- Attend team meetings and occasional weekend events
- Represent AcroSports with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or youth in a teaching, coaching, or camp setting
- Movement arts experience (gymnastics, parkour, circus, dance, martial arts, etc.) preferred
- Energetic, team-oriented, and able to motivate kids in a positive way
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Able to lift and set up equipment
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid Certification required (can be completed after hire)
