Bearing Engineering Company is looking for a Sales / Customer Service Representative for our office in San Jose, CA.

Minimum requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous sales and customer service experience preferred.

Positive attitude.

Professional and clean appearance.

Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills. Ability to communicate clearly both written and orally is vital.

Ability to function well as part of a team.

Diligent attention to customer service and warehouse safety.

High level of efficiency and attention to detail.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Bilingual in English/Spanish is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Loading and unloading of products for customers and freight forwarders.

General safety and operation knowledge of walk-behind and ride-on equipment shop forklifts.

Account for inventory control by following standard operating procedures.

Warehouse and office upkeeping.

Meeting and complying to all of Bearing Engineering operational procedures and QC standards.

Account for any other duties as assigned by Bearing Engineering management team.

Sales of bearings, power transmissions, pumps and HVAC products. Industry experience is highly desirable.

Proactive and responsive communications via phone calls and emails, quoting, ordering, receiving, expediting and multitasking in an organized and timely manner.

Continually work at gaining more knowledge through various training opportunities as well as learning from peers and self-courses.

Have the ability to self educate about products sold as well as their applications.

Be proficient and apply close attention to details in the use of the company operating

system. Training will continuously be provided.

Maximize profitability per customer and up-sell.

Utilize key suppliers when ordering products.

Having a keen ability to recognize new business and customer opportunities is key.

Treat customers as well as team members in a kind and respectful manner. The golden rule applies everyday at Bearing Engineering.
