The Motor Cafe is currently growing and taking applications for a service writer. We are seeking a qualified, detail oriented, and reliable individual with a passion for motorcycles to join our team. Qualifications:
-Must be a motorcycle enthusiast.
-Be self-motivated, goal-oriented with an enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
-Friendly, outgoing personality.
-Capable of scheduling and distributing the workload for optimal efficiency.
-Proficient in determining customers' needs and providing communication throughout the repair process.
-Experience answering incoming calls/emails efficiently and returning all customer calls/emails by the end of each business day.
-Computer skills are a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Would act as the point of contact from initial call/email to service explanation and final billing.
-Speak with customers regarding requests for service, quotes and installation.
-Schedule, route and assign repair orders to technicians.
-Track progress and check with technicians to ensure timely servicing of repair orders.
-Manage shop workflow and schedule for technicians.
-Responsible for reviewing and finalizing repair orders to be billed with labor and costs of services.
-Performs quality control checks on finished motorcycles to assure completion of repair and cleanliness.
-Submit warranty claims with required documentation.
