We are looking for a Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team as we expand services to the weekends. This position will begin as Monday - Friday as you train, but we will shift you to the weekend shift + some weekdays once trained. You MUST have weekend availability.
Key Responsibilities:
● Attend to dogs while they are in play time, and can appropriately handle any escalations
between dogs in a safe manner
● Monitor health and safety of dogs throughout the day
● Assist in daily trips to the dog park, and ensure the dogs are playing safely together,
picking up dog waste as necessary, and taking photos of dogs to send updates to
parents
● Refill dog bowls with fresh water
● Appropriate clean up of dog waste and vomit
● Follow procedures for cleaning and sanitizing
● Occasionally drive dogs to and from home
Qualifications:
● Must feel comfortable driving, parking and navigating San Francisco, CA
● Must feel comfortable handling dogs
● Has a valid Driver’s License and can operate a shuttle van within San Francisco
● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications:
● At least 1 year of dog care experience
● Ability to handle dog group play and de-escalate when necessary
● Has a valid Driver’s License and can operate a shuttle van within San Francisco
● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as cleaning, feeding,
handling dogs of all sizes, and grooming. Must be able to stand and walk for extended
periods.
Hours
● Day shifts
● Begin with Monday - Friday, but needs to be able to work weekends in the future
● Holidays as needed
● Expected to be on site in San Francisco’s Soma district
Pay
● $22/hr + any applicable overtime
● Compliance with California labor laws, including overtime pay, rest breaks, and meal
periods (where applicable)
