E-Commerce Customer Service Support at local garden seed company!

Renee's Garden, a Felton-based garden seed packet company, is seeking a cheerful, energetic person to join our small, causal office. This part-time position (20-30 hours per week) assists online customers and office staff to ensure daily operations are functioning efficiently and customer needs are met. Required hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 1:30pm. Flexibility to stay later when needed is a bonus. 

Our ideal person likes people, is very organized, detail oriented, tech-savvy, and a good listener/communicator. The glue that holds our small but busy office together!   

This position is perfect for someone who likes having a wide variety of tasks, enjoys interacting with and helping both customers and office team members, adapts to the needs of the business and has an approachable, can-do attitude.   

Some specific job responsibilities include: 

- Respond with tact and courtesy to customers via phone and email 

- Analyze customer feedback to identify areas of improvement

- Provide technical support related to online shopping issues  

- Maintain customer profiles in Shopify  

- Order office supplies and maintain office equipment 

- Promote high customer satisfaction by resolving problems with knowledge and friendly service

- Perform various administrative tasks and be open to providing support where needed

- Organize company events including holiday parties, team building activities

- Some local errand running required - a reliable car is a must. 

You have the following skills:

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite, with emphasis on Excel, Outlook & Word

- Experience with Shopify, Endicia, UPS, USPS, Gorgias, or SAP Business One experience a plus!

- Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Drive to learn and improve both self and company

- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

- The workload can vary greatly depending upon the season, so flexibility is key
