Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Shipping Specialist who is eager to start their career on the ground floor with significant opportunities for advancement. In this role, you will initially focus on managing our shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of our products. With demonstrated proficiency and leadership, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to transition into the role of Production Assistant Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking shipments.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local shipping regulations.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure seamless transfer of goods to and from production facilities.
Implement and monitor quality control measures for outgoing shipments.
Train and supervise shipping department staff to enhance operational efficiency.
Prepare regular reports on shipping metrics and department performance.
As you progress, take on additional responsibilities in production management, helping to oversee and optimize production workflows.
