Job Description
We seek a Community Manager to oversee daily operations at our 21-unit Apartment community in Campbell, CA, near the Pruneyard. Built in the 1970s, the property has been well-maintained, with significant renovations completed.
This part-time role averages 8 hours per week, with up to 20 hours during turnovers. A flexible schedule and reliable transportation are required. Off-hours phone calls are part of the job and compensated. On-site living is not required but may be considered in the future.
The current Community Manager is relocating but will assist with training.
Key Responsibilities
Resident Relations
Serve as the primary contact for Residents, addressing concerns promptly.
Conduct regular check-ins and coordinate lease renewals.
Enforce community rules and foster a positive environment.
Work Orders & Maintenance
Respond to maintenance requests, coordinate with vendors, and oversee repairs.
Bookkeeping & Administration
Handle basic bookkeeping, invoice approvals, and record-keeping.
Turnovers & Leasing
Schedule inspections, oversee repairs, and manage move-ins.
Advertise vacancies, show units, screen applicants, and execute leases.
Property Management
Maintain supplies and oversee the upkeep of the property.
Qualifications
Experience in property management, customer service, or hospitality preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Honest, highly organized, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Knowledge of leasing agreements and maintenance basics.
Strong with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Sheets skills.
Experience with Rent Manager software.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Background check required.
Completion of CA Dept. of Fair Employment and Housing Sexual Harassment and Abusive Conduct Prevention Training
Compensation & Benefits
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on experience).
