Clars Auction Gallery, an internationally recognized, full-service auction house located in Oakland, is currently seeking an experienced Logistics Crewman
Position requires moving various items as directed to create displays in a showroom setting
Should know how to lift and move heavy furniture and be able to pack and handle smaller, delicate items onsite in the company's warehouse, as well as offsite
Customer service to assist buyers in locating and loading their purchases
Work as part of a team with other departments to meet company deadlines
Special projects as directed
Knowledge of inventory systems a plus
This is a dynamic and fast paced work environment.
Daily tasks may include:
Loading and unloading a 28ft truck
Moving a variety of items (furniture, paintings, sculpture and small decorative items)
