Sequoia Capital Operations, LLC seeks a FP&A Senior Manager in Menlo Park, California.
Responsibilities: The FP&A Senior Manager will be responsible to cross-functionally drive financial analysis, helping the Finance team and the Partnership program grow. Duties include: manage financial analysis and highlight key elements; manage organization and delivery of financial data in a meaningful fashion, such as via day-to-day operational dashboard targeted to various stakeholders – Stewards, GPs, Investors, CFOs, etc.; proactively distill financial data into key insights for the Partnership; manage financial modelling for existing partnerships and possibly, newly proposed business lines; budget management and oversight; manage partnership level budgets & forecasts, analyzing variances and consolidating across regions; guide department heads through budget preparation and budget versus actual reconciliations; work with our Technology team to enhance current budgeting capabilities, and evaluate and implement new tools to streamline operation; drive efficiencies through process redesign and automation; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to Sequoia’s headquarters located in Menlo Park, California. Salary range: $220k – 250k

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related managing positions. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience in with one of the following: eFront, Admin, Certify, APSmart, or GP Dynamics, or other such similar financial reporting systems; 2 years of experience creating and designing financial models for existing and new companies; 2 years of experience driving efficiencies through process redesign and automation; 2 years of experience creating budget and cashflows; 2 years of experience providing financial advisory support; and Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to Sequoia’s headquarters located in Menlo Park, California.
