Bookkeeper / Receptionist / Office Manager

Hi,

We are a small fabrication company, located in Hayward by the airport, started in 1979. Because we are an essential business, we did not close during the Covid pandemic. We need someone that can assist in all aspects of the business.

Responsibilities will include:

Being nice and polite to people

Answering the phones

Sorting mail

Invoicing and collecting A/R

Entering, monitoring and paying A/P

Filing and organizing

Bank statement reconciliations

Making deposits and running errands

Assisting with bids, including organizing drawings, locating pricing, etc.

Ordering materials

Typing letters and quotes

Running credit cards for payments

Payroll (we use a vendor, but time cards must be organized and totals called in)

Getting freight quotes

Finding things on the internet

Counting and sorting parts

Preparing shipping labels

Picking up lunch for the crew on Fridays

Doing whatever is needed to make the office run smoothly

This is a full-time 8:00 to 4:30 Monday-Friday job.

Must be reliable and punctual.
