POSITION PURPOSE:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AP Specialist/Jr. Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable (AP) process, reconciling certain balance sheet accounts, and maintaining comprehensive financial records. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with various departments and vendors. This is a full-time onsite role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Accounts Payable Management
Ensure all invoices are approved and coded correctly to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
Review and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Vendor Relations
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
Address vendor inquires and resolve any billing issues or discrepancies.
Negotiate payment terms and manage vendor contracts.
Financial Reporting and Compliance
Reconcile cash daily.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare reports related to accounts payable.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
SALARY:
$28.00 -$30.00/hour, Negotiable Depending on Experience
