Professional Association Services (PAS) is looking for an Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to join our Accounting team in the Company's Fremont office. The role of Accounts Payable is to provide financial, as well as administrative and clerical support to the Company.
Primary Responsibilities -
Day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner
Reconciling of processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Maintaining accurate and complete historical records
Entry of payables for applicable associations into Strongroom via Incoming Invoice Review
Assisting the Accounting department in Strongroom with Invoice Rejection Review, including but not limited to –
requesting copies of invoices, confirming payment addresses, etc.
Vendor management; including complete understanding of W-9 forms, as well as 1099 forms
Maintaining accurate and complete vendor records in Jenark
Ensure all paper (manual) checks are processed weekly
Assist with budget preparation annually
Preparing and processing electronic payments, transfers and financial transactions
Sorting, coding, matching and filing invoices and complete and incomplete transactions
Other duties, as assigned
