Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Selma, California. The role involves managing accounts payable functions within a telecom provider industry setting. The workplace will require you to utilize your skills and experience in accounts payable, data entry, and invoice processing. Responsibilities: Undertake the processing of all invoices received for payment in an accurate and timely manner Manage incoming vendor invoices and register them in Famous accounting software, ensuring proper coding and dating Perform three-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and delivery receipts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies with vendors Proactively follow up with vendors for missing proof of deliveries, pricing issues, or other concerns Ensure all payments are sent promptly and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company Analyze reports for accuracy and maintain accounts payable and light accounts receivable filing systems Work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication and organizational skills Perform other duties as assigned by the controller and owner Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel and Famous Maintain a reliable attendance and punctuality record. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) Skilled in Account Reconciliation Experience with Check Runs Ability to perform Coding Invoices Strong Data Entry skills Proficient in Invoice Processing Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Oracle Experience with QuickBooks Proficiency in SAP Familiarity with Famous software Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong numeracy and bookkeeping skills Ability to handle confidential information Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Good problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
