Candidates with the ability to to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks!RESPONSIBILITIES
Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
Verify coding and obtain approval for payment
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and perform weekly check runs
Maintain vendor files and communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries
Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
Generate reports and provide analysis as required
Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
Requirements
AA or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2+ years of accounts payable experience
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
Familiarity with electronic invoicing systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
