Description Remote In House CounselThe role involves providing comprehensive legal advice and partnership to various business units, ensuring operations within legal boundaries while maximizing opportunities. This role is instrumental in navigating the complexities of the company's industry and ensuring the smooth operation of their business.Responsibilities: Provide insightful legal counsel to various business units within the company. Ensure the company operates within legal boundaries and adheres to relevant laws and regulations. Act as a strategic partner for business units, helping to maximize opportunities while mitigating legal risks. Utilize Case Management Software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites to manage and organize legal information and tasks. Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation of all legal matters. Navigate and negotiate contracts, ensuring the best interests of the company are represented and protected. Collaborate with various departments to ensure all company activities align with legal requirements. Stay updated with changes in the law and industry regulations, ensuring company practices are updated accordingly. Participate in internal meetings, providing legal insight and advice on business strategies and initiatives. Handle any legal issues or disputes that arise, working towards resolution in a timely and effective manner.Requirements Requirements Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience as an In House Counsel or similar role in the legal sector Proficiency in using Case Management Software for effective case handling Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites for data management and reporting Demonstrated ability in handling Documentation tasks with high level of accuracy Proven experience in Contract Negotiation with a track record of successful deals Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required CA barred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines High level of professionalism and confidentiality Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
