Description A well-respected Robert Half client is seeking a Tax Manager to join the company. This Tax Manager will be an expert in tax returns and financial statements, and have strong skills in Excel and tax software. This the role for an experienced Tax Manager looking for a challenging role at an established company.Your responsibilities in this role
Prepare and examine complex income tax returns
Assist in the review of the calculation and distribution of W-2s and 1099s
Review and provide oversight for quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
Assist with compliance with financial and tax reporting policies and procedures
Assist in the review and oversight of the preparation of quarterly tax projections and communication of required estimated tax payments
Provide accounting managers and staff accountants with tax best business practices
Support compliance and planning for tax matters like waivers and tax returns
Assist in quality control review for all financial statements
Assemble and manage oversight of tax audits and tax correspondence and facilitation Requirements - 5-7 years' experience in tax accounting
2+ years of supervisory experience
CPA preferred
Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required
