WE NEED YOUSalary: $40 per hourWork hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PMEducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
Accurately abstracts data, through the review of medical records, on all Trauma Service patients including the proper assignment of Abbreviated Injury Scoring, Injury Severity Scoring and ICD-10 codes
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and national trauma registry standards and regulations.
Assists in identification and completion of performance improvement activities. Ex. Performing regular audits and quality checks to maintain data integrity
Requirements:
3 years of experience working in a Trauma Center environment
ICD-10 certification
AAAM's Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) course (Required)
EPIC
GED or High School Diploma
