Description We are seeking a Property Administrator to join our team in Santa Rosa, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing tenant applications, managing property appearances, and coordinating the leasing process.Responsibilities: Review and process tenant applications for eligibility Maintain and update waiting lists of potential tenants Showcase available units to prospective tenants Adhere to company procedures for processing eligible applicants within the program guidelines Ensure that all new move-in files are complete and orderly Monitor the overall appearance of the property through regular walks Expedite the process of preparing vacant units for new tenants by coordinating with vendors and maintenance staff Minimize property vacancy loss by processing multiple applicants simultaneously upon receipt of notice of intent to vacate by the current resident Distribute rent bills, collect rent and security deposits, and forward them to the accounting department Work closely with accounting staff to facilitate smooth accounting procedures Complete lease forms, outline conditions and terms of occupancy with new residents and complete relevant paperwork Perform annual re-certifications of tenants and complete required weekly reports, monthly reports, and compliance reports. Skills: Knowledge of HUD Experience with Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH)Requirements Must possess knowledge and experience in HUD regulations and guidelines Familiarity with Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) is required Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines Proficient in the use of property management software Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in preparing and managing budgets for properties Knowledge of property maintenance and facility management Ability to liaise effectively with tenants and handle any issues or queries promptly and professionally Understanding of property laws and regulations High level of professionalism and ethical conduct in property administration.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
