Description Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Sr. Accountant to support our rapidly growing e-commerce client for 3+ months onsite in West Los Angeles. The Sr. Accountant must have strong experience using QuickBooks Online and Excel, as well as advanced knowledge of a month-end close process, e-commerce experience would be helpful as well.Key responsibilities:
Prepare & enter global Amazon, Shopify and eBay sales
Bank reconciliations (multiple accounts with multiple banks)
Credit card reconciliations (multiple accounts)
Prepaid calculations (Insurance and others)
Compute and record COGS
Update inventory values
Merchant processing fees account reconciliations (multiple accounts)
Payroll entries
Petty cash reconciliation
Record any necessary journal entries (after approval)
Update reports and schedules
Reconcile and review all balance sheet accounts
Audit & verify all data (with VP Finance & C-Suite Executives)
Confirm backup documents are properly archived
Help prepare monthly financial statements
Other ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant or related field. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience in eCommerce accounting is a significant plus. Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. Strong understanding and experience with general ledger and journal entries. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated ability to handle month-end close processes. Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
